Stakeholder consultations

The President is pleased to announce that the Search Committee to recommend a Vice-President responsible for Research and Innovation is ready to develop the candidate profile with the help of internal and external stakeholders through a community consultation process.

The Search Committee has developed a consultation plan that will make it as easy as possible for all stakeholders to be heard, with multiple opportunities through either listening sessions, face-to-face consultations, interviews, or an online survey.

A listening session has been scheduled at both the north and downtown locations on Tuesday, November 27, as follows:

North Oshawa location; Simcoe Building, J Wing:

  • 9 to 10 a.m., Room J125
  • 10 to 11 a.m., Room J125

Downtown Oshawa location, 61 Charles St:

  • 1 to 2 p.m., Room DTA219

As well, a confidential online survey is available to all stakeholders for those unable to attend these sessions or wishing to participate in an alternate format.

If you are unable to attend the consultation on November 27, 2018, you may also reach out directly to Jane Griffith at Odgers Berndtson to provide your confidential comments about the search for our next Vice-President responsible for Research and Innovation. She can be reached at
