Basic Design Principles (Online)

Overview:

This studio course introduces students to fundamental design principles. These principles that underpin two dimensional space will be explored using typography, photography, and drawing. All students are required to provide their own laptops with Adobe CC Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign software to complete the in-class assignments. Students are responsible for purchasing their own supplies.

Students are required to provide their own laptops with Adobe CC Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign software to complete the in-class assignments. Students are responsible for purchasing their own supplies. Regular access to a computer with a high speed broadband internet connection is required.

Online courses are delivered through a series of tutorials and related assignments which students may complete at their own pace on our Learning Management System, Canvas. Once your registration is processed, you will receive an OCAD U user account, which will grant you access to Canvas, and our on-campus WiFi network.
