Minecraft is a versatile tool to develop new skills and to design and build campers’ creations. It is also an amazing way to make new friends. Minecraft Camps allow for individual and group learning. Learn the basics of the game, controls, recipes, and how to build circuits/devices in Minecraft.

Availability
Week 1: July 5 to July 9 (5 days)
Time: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. EST

Week 6: August 9 to August 13 (5 days)
Time: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. EST

Important note: Tablets, other mobile devices and gaming consoles are not sufficient for this camp. Campers must have a computer with their own copy of Minecraft Java Edition installed before the start of camp to participate.

- Audio device (examples: speakers, headphones/earbuds, headset).
*Webcam is preferred, but not required
Minecraft
- Minecraft Java Edition
- Campers must have their own copy of Minecraft Java Edition installed on their computer. Tablets, other mobile devices and gaming consoles are not sufficient for this camp.
- CPU: Intel Core i3 3210 | AMD A8 7600 APU or equivalent.
- RAM: 4 GB RAM.
- HDD: 180 MB to 1 GB available space.
- GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4000 or AMD Radeon R5 series | NVIDIA GeForce 400 Series or AMD Radeon HD 7000 series.
- OS: 64-bit Windows 7 or later.
- Screen Resolution: 1024 x 768 or better.
Parents/guardians are responsible for supervision of their child(ren).
Support needs will vary by child. We anticipate younger campers may require more support.
Support may be required by parents/guardians or older child for:- initial computer and program launch;
- internet connectivity; and/or
- technical issues not related to Google Meet or Minecraft.
