Minecraft is a versatile tool to develop new skills and to design and build campers’ creations. It is also an amazing way to make new friends. Minecraft Camps allow for individual and group learning. Learn the basics of the game, controls, recipes, and how to build circuits/devices in Minecraft.

Week 1:  July 6 to July 10 (5 days) 
Time: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. EST

Week 6: August 10 to August 14 (5 days)
Time: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. EST
Cost: $90* + materials (see below)

  • Stable internet or data connection
  • Computer with internet access
  • Device with internet access, microphone, webcam, and speaker/headphone capabilities. This can be the computer listed above or a different device.
  • Campers signing up for Minecraft need to have their own copy of Minecraft Java Edition installed.  Minecraft on a phone or Xbox will not be sufficient.

Recommended computer specifications for Minecraft:
  • CPU: Intel Core i3 3210 | AMD A8 7600 APU or equivalent.
  • RAM: 4 GB RAM.
  • HDD: 180 MB to 1 GB available space.
  • GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4000 or AMD Radeon R5 series | NVIDIA GeForce 400 Series or AMD Radeon HD 7000 series.
  • OS: 64-bit Windows 7 or later.
  • Screen Resolution: 1024 x 768 or better.
No physical materials required.

Parents/guardians are responsible for supervision of their child(ren).

Support needs will vary by child. We anticipate younger campers may require more support. 

Support may be required by parents/guardians or older child for:
  • initial computer and program launch
  • internet connectivity 
  • technical issues not related to Google Meet or Minecraft
