Community Connect

Online discussion groups to help you stay connected!

“Social distancing” can leave us feeling isolated, out of touch, and stressed. But with technology we can turn “social distancing” into just “physical distancing”.

We have organized free, informal online discussions to give adults, kids, and teachers a space to connect with others and teach you how you can still socialize while practicing “social distancing”.

We currently have three (3) types of sessions:

Topic Talks

These free online discussion groups focus on topics that provide you with information, tips and tricks to help you feel more confident in navigating current relevant issues:

  • facilitated by a subject expert
  • about a particular topic
  • up to one-hour long
  • typically related to current events, online work and socializing, parenting and important skills for the current social and political climate
