Women in Leadership Certificate Program
Overview:
This six-session, online program is designed to help you understand, navigate and overcome obstacles facing female leaders in the workplace. Learning to become gender-bilingual and understanding gender differences will help you navigate and manage mixed teams more effectively and improve understanding, problem solving and communication with coworkers, teams and customers. Sessions are hosted by women in leadership positions from around the world. Participants will receive an Ontario Tech University certificate upon completion.

Who should attend?
You may use the knowledge and skills developed through this certificate program to prepare you for understanding women's leadership in the workplace, such as:
- Executives, managers and supervisors;
- Customer service representatives;

- Marketing professionals;
- Anyone with an interest in diversity in the workplace.
What you'll learn
In this certificate program, you will learn how to:
- Describe and discuss the meaning of the Leadership Labyrinth as it relates to the challenging environment of Women in Leadership in the 21st century context.
- Effectively apply Resilience, Diversity, and Mentorship strategies to your leadership development process.
- Develop an entrepreneurial and leadership mindset and skillset.
- Reach out to at least one leader to request a mentoring relationship.
- Develop a strategy to build inclusive spaces through psychological safety.

Online course delivery is an asynchronous format. This means you can complete modules and course work at your own pace as long as you meet required deadlines.
Kaltura Virtual Classroom and/or Google Meet is used for online delivery to support interaction and engagement.- Computer with internet access

Fees
Option 1 - Without certificate:
$120 CDN for six modules + HST
Option 2 - With certificate:
$320 CDN for six modules, assessment and certificate + HST
Note: Certificates will only be distributed to those who have selected the certificate option and successfully complete the program.
Registration

- Actively participant in all required components of each online module; and
- Successfully complete the final project.
Those completing the Women in Leadership Certificate Program are subject the policies of Ontario Tech University and Continuous Learning. Ontario Tech policies can be found in the Policy library. Continuous Learning policies can be found in the Regulations section of the Continuous Learning website. Specifically, those completing the Social Selling (LinkedIn) workshop are expected to adhere to the the General and Open enrolment regulations.
