Required Software/Supplies:
Students must have access to SketchUp Pro software to participate in the online course. This course is taught using SketchUp Pro for Windows. Most of SketchUp Pro’s functionality is the same across Windows and Mac operating systems, however there are some differences between the interfaces and shortcut commands, and what you see in the tutorials may not match what you are seeing on your own machine. Students using a Mac can install Boot Camp, which is a utility that comes with your Mac, that will allow you to switch between macOS and Windows.
Notes:
Online courses are delivered through a series of tutorials and related assignments that students may complete at their own pace on our Learning Management System, Canvas. The instructor is available throughout the course time period for questions and discussions. Learn more about what to expect in an online course at OCAD U. All students are required to provide their own laptops with Adobe CC Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign software to complete the in-class assignments. Students are responsible for purchasing their own supplies.
Once your registration is processed, you will receive an OCAD U user account, which will grant you access to Canvas, and our on-campus WiFi network.
