Introduction to 3D Animation with Blender (Online)
Overview:
Open source applications are high quality, reliable, flexible, and free (or low cost) alternatives to many commercially available applications. Blender is an open source 3D graphic application used by media artists and designers. This hands-on course provides students with the skills to create basic 3D models, animation, and 3D visualizations. Topics include surface modeling, texture, lighting, rigging, compositing, and rendering. Software for this course is available online for free at Blender.org

Required Software/Supplies:
Regular access to a computer with a high-speed broadband internet connection is required. For online Adobe classes, students are responsible for purchasing their own software for class. Trial versions of the software are sometimes available on the company website.

Online courses are delivered through a series of tutorials and related assignments that students may complete at their own pace on our Learning Management System, Canvas.
