U-Pass
The U-Pass program provides eligible, full-time students with unlimited travel each semester on Durham Region Transit (DRT) as part of their ancillary fees.
Digital U-Passes are distributed via the PRESTO E-Tickets app at the beginning of each semester.
Winter 2025 U-Passes have been distributed and can be activated and used starting January 1, 2025.
U-Pass distribution will continue daily for newly eligible students when the University reopens on Thursday, January 2, 2025. Once distributed, an email will be sent to eligible students' ontariotechu.net email accounts with further instructions.
Please note: You can only access your U-Pass on one device. Once your U-Pass is activated, it cannot be accessed through another device without reissuance.
If you plan to switch devices over the holiday break, please wait until you have your new one before activating your pass. If you reset or change your mobile device, or reinstall the PRESTO E-Tickets app after activating your U-Pass, please complete our U-Pass Reissue Request form. Your request will be processed when the University reopens on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
