Dr. Hosseini is currently the director of Machining Research Laboratory (MRL) with a research focus on advanced manufacturing processes, metal additive manufacturing, machining difficult-to-cut materials such as titanium and superalloys that are widely used in aerospace industry, design and optimization, and surface integrity.
