Baagwating Indigenous Student Centre

About Baagwating Indigenous Student Centre

The Baagwating Indigenous Student Centre is home to Indigenous Education and Cultural Services (IECS) offered by the university’s Office of Student Life. Its distinctive design incorporates Indigenous and natural elements.

The centre creates an environment that supports personal and cultural growth and academic success. It complements the IECS services offered at Shawenjigewining Hall, at the north Oshawa campus. These spaces serve as a home away from home for our Indigenous students and provide all students the opportunity to connect with Indigenous culture and resources.
