Course registration and transfer credit

Registering for courses 

Once you have accepted your offer and paid your deposit, you will be able to register for courses when your registration window opens.

Priority registration for newly admitted students takes place in July and is done entirely online through the MyOntarioTech website. Keep in mind that you should register as soon as possible for access to the broadest selection of courses.

You will receive information about registering for courses from the Registrar's office in June.

Transfer credit 

Please review our transfer credit website, which explains the university's transfer credit policy, curriculum evaluation criteria and the evaluation process. To ensure a timely assessment, all official documents (such as transcripts and institutionally-prepared course syllabi) must be submitted to the Registrar's office.

Course syllabi must be uploaded via your admissions portal using the upload button. If you do not see this button in your portal, please be patient as the initial assessment is still in progress.

Note: Transfer credit evaluations can take up to eight weeks to process from the date that all requested documentation has been received. Requests will only be processed after you have accepted your offer of admission.
