PowerBI for Data Energy Insights
Overview
In the energy sector, PowerBI can be used to analyze and visualize data related to energy production, consumption and trends. This supports informed decision-making and strategic planning, even for professionals without specialized data analysis skills.
In this course, learners will create basic visualizations in PowerBI to analyze and compare data points at various scales. Learners will use PowerQuery to import data into PowerBI, apply Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) to create variables and calculate the Energy Utility Index (EUI) through a case study. They will then create visualizations and organize them into a dashboard to communicate data insights.
The time commitment for course completion is approximately 5 to 7 hours. Once registered, learners will be given a maximum of 10 weeks (70 days) to complete the course.
