Overview

students studying on campus Our Developmental Science & Learning program examines how people grow, learn and adapt across their lifespan.

Our Bachelor of Arts in Educational Psychology with a specialization in Developmental Science & Learning* focuses on understanding human development in children and youth, equipping students to support learning in diverse social and educational contexts. With an emphasis on both typical and atypical developmental trajectories, the program provides foundational knowledge of human growth and the interplay of individual differences and environmental factors. Students learn to apply innovations in digital technology and inquiry-based learning to create engaging opportunities for early literacy, numeracy, and holistic development. The program also explores maker pedagogies, including digital coding, to foster creativity and critical thinking in young learners within formal and informal settings.
