Partners

Partnerships bring together research, talent and application to address complex energy challenges. We work with industry, government, community and academic partners to develop technologies, support workforce needs and strengthen Canada’s energy system.

Why partner with us

Partners gain access to:

  • Collaborative opportunities that support innovation and implementation.
  • Facilities and environments for testing and validation.
  • Research and technical expertise across energy infrastructure.

Industry and institutional partnerships

We work with partners in the energy sector, from utilities and engineering firms to government and research organizations. These collaborations inform program development and contribute to solutions that address energy challenges.

Our long-standing partnership with Ontario Power Generation (OPG) supports workforce development, applied learning and research aligned with Canada’s nuclear and energy priorities. Partnerships also create direct pathways for students and graduates, such as the Bruce Power co-op program, providing hands-on experience in real-world nuclear environments.

Partnerships also extend to academic collaborators through initiatives such as the Canadian Clean Energy Workforce Consortium, which brings together post-secondary partners to align training and support workforce development across Canada’s energy sector.

The university also works with industry partners through structured initiatives such as the Student Enrichment Program, supporting talent development and applied learning opportunities.
