Overview

Explore the fundamentals of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) by gaining competency in teaching patients/clients with mood and anxiety disorders to transform their thought patterns, problematic emotions, and behaviors to facilitate recovery. This course delves into the core components of CBT; equipping you with the skills to foster awareness of mental illnesses within patients/clients, guide individuals in challenging their thought records, encourage opposite actions to negative reactions, and introduce exposure therapy to support therapeutic outcomes.

To successfully complete the course, you must:

Learners will receive a digital badge for individual course completion.

There are no additional materials required.

To be eligible for OSAP for Micro-credentials, a student must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, or a protected person; and, be a resident of Ontario.
