Mental Health Pharmacology
Overview
This course is designed to enhance learners' existing pharmacological knowledge when engaging in medication practices and better prepare nurses and other medical professionals working in healthcare to apply the appropriate clinical interventions through person-centered care in a variety of scenarios supporting a pharmacological standard of practice.

Online
This micro-credential combines self-directed online learning with facilitated discussions and interactive learning activities over a six-week period. Learners are expected to actively participate in discussions, engage with course content, and complete learning activities within the specified course timeframe.
Facilitator support
This offering is supported by a facilitator who guides discussions, answers questions related to course content, facilitates learner engagement, and provides feedback on assessments. Through interactive discussions and practice-based activities, learners have opportunities to explore concepts in greater depth and apply their learning to real-world clinical situations.

To successfully complete the course, you must:

OSAP for Micro-credentials is available for eligible students taking a ministry-approved micro-credential that is less than 12 weeks.
