Recovery in Mental Health
Overview
This course equips clinicians/nurses with techniques for supporting clients & patients in their journey to Mental Health Recovery. Through a real-world case study, learners apply the CHIME framework in a strengths-based approach to create tailored interventions and set recovery goals. Emphasis is placed on advocating for patient autonomy and addressing mental health stigma. Participants evaluate the role of recovery colleges in promoting holistic recovery experiences and combating stigma. Through collaborative discussions, learners develop personalized strategies to support clients on their recovery journey.

To successfully complete the course, you must:

OSAP for Micro-credentials is available for eligible students taking a ministry-approved micro-credential that is less than 12 weeks. To be eligible for OSAP for Micro-credentials, a student must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, or a protected person; and, be a resident of Ontario.
