student looking at dual monitor screens with graphs Discover how AI technologies and tools are evolving and becoming essential in business and the wider economy.

The specialization in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Business is available to all majors within the Bachelor of Commerce degree. It responds to a major shift in how AI technologies and tools are evolving and becoming essential in business and the wider economy. This specialization equips you with the knowledge and tools to understand AI, develop skills in using current and emerging technologies and make informed business decisions.

You will gain a fundamental understanding of AI, explore its applications in various business functions and operations and choose electives to deepen your expertise in specific technologies or the ethical, legal and societal implications of AI. This specialization prepares our graduates to be more competitive in the job market and successful in their careers, and may also spark interest in graduate programs in AI.

If you're interested in applying to the Artifical Intelligence for Business specialization within the Commerce (Co-op) program, apply via the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC) using code DCC.

If you're interested in applying to the Commerce program without co-op or are a student with previous post-secondary studies, apply via OUAC using code DBC. Note: Students with previous post-secondary studies can only opt into a co-op program after the completion of a transfer-credit assessment.

I found my most courses especially relevant because they provide a clear overview of what to expect in a career in auditing. It helped me better understand the practical side of the profession and how the concepts apply in real-world situations.
