On-campus housing options

At Ontario Tech University, we offer the best of both worlds when it comes to residence - all the comforts of home in a unique campus community environment. 

Our Simcoe Village and South Village residences provide accommodations for over 1,300 students. If you’re a first-year student, you’re guaranteed a spot in residence if you meet the deadline criteria. Students enrolled in January-start and May-start programs may apply to residence and will be approved based on availability. Simcoe Village Residence

The Simcoe Village Residence includes three halls: Central Hall, South Hall and North Hall.

Central Hall and South Hall

You can choose from two variations of a spacious open-concept model. These fully furnished suites include:

  • Two double beds separated by a partial wall
  • A kitchenette
  • A three-piece bath
  • A workspace

North Hall

These fully furnished suites include:

  • Two private bedrooms
  • A three-piece bath
  • A large kitchenette
  • A workspace

South Village*

This South Village residence features fully furnished suites that include:

  • Two private bedrooms
  • A three-piece bath
  • A small kitchenette
  • A workspace
  • A small seating area

*Students living in South Village residence must purchase a mandatory meal plan. Learn more about meal plans.

All residences feature:

  • Eight-month lease
  • 24/7 front desk staff
  • Residence Outreach Worker
  • Resident Advisor staff and nightly programming
  • Controlled building access
  • A games room, furnished lounges, and common study areas
  • Individually controlled air conditioning/heating
  • Bi-weekly housekeeping and maintenance services on-site
  • On-site laundry, additional kitchen facilities and storage space
  • On-site management
  • High-speed Internet access

West Village residences

These beautiful, new apartment-style residence suites are ideal for upper-year students looking for the independence of apartment living with the convenience of residing on campus. Three- and six-bedroom units are available and include:
