Today reflects the hard work, determination and growth that brought you here. Earning your degree is an achievement to be proud of, and one that speaks to your resilience, curiosity and your commitment to reaching your goals.

As you embark on the next chapter of your life, stay connected to what drives you. Continue to set ambitious goals, remain open to new opportunities and lead with purpose in all that you do.

Convocation is made even more meaningful by the people around you: Your classmates, family and friends, who have supported and celebrated with you every step of the way. Take a moment to appreciate just how far you’ve come, together.

During your time at Ontario Tech, you’ve taken on challenges, explored new perspectives, and built the knowledge and skills that will carry you far in this ever-evolving world. Wherever your path leads next, I encourage you to approach it with purpose. Continue asking improtant questions, seeking new ideas and using your talents to create positive change.

During your time at Ontario Tech University, you have developed the knowledge, skills and perspective needed to contribute in meaningful ways to your professions, your communities and the world around you. You graduate at a time of rapid change and unprecedented opportunity, where leadership will require adaptability, integrity and the confidence to think differently. These are qualities I know you possess.
