Joycelyn Kelly
Joycelyn Kelly brings over 15 years of professional experience in program instruction, corporate training, career development, and workshop facilitation within the business community and higher education sectors. She is passionate about student development, mental health, and the innovative use of emerging AI technologies in education and professional practices. As a program instructor in the Artificial Intelligence in Teaching and Learning program at Ontario Tech University, Joycelyn enjoys integrating and applying AI technologies to enhance professional practice, teaching, and learning. Her innovative approaches have significantly improved educational outcomes, administrative strategies, and student engagement.
Joycelyn holds a Master of Education (MEd) degree from Ontario Tech University, where her research focused on the affordances of AI chatbots and mental health in adolescent and adult populations. She also holds an undergraduate degree BA (Hons) in Educational Studies & Digital Technology specializing in Adult Education from Ontario Tech University and an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration Marketing from Centennial College. Additionally, she is a certified Life Skills Coach from the YWCA, underscoring her commitment to holistic approaches to student development. She continues to create AI chatbots to support pedagogy, professional practice, professional development, and efforts to upskill learners and reskill workers with 21st-century AI literacy skills.
