Iain Brodie

Iain has been teaching for almost 35 years. The first 28 of those were in grades 1-8 in Scarborough where he taught every possible double grade except for 6/7. Now ‘retired,’ he is an academic associate at Ontario Tech teaching in the BEd and BA programs where he loves teaching our future educators about coding, mathematics, problem- and inquiry-based learning and more. He is actively tearing down the pedagogical and assessment structures endemic in our system in order to build up new ones which reflect how learners learn best.
