Carolyn McGregor AM

Professor McGregor is the principal investigator for the Space Health study currently running on the ISS supported by the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) and was a principal investigator on the Axiom 1st all private astronaut mission (Ax-1). She was a member of the CGI led team, proposing a new Connected Care Medical Module (C2M2) for CSA and is a principal investigator on the ESA/MEDES led Vivaldi, Vivaldi 2 and Vivaldi 3 Dry Immersion analogue international study series.
She is collaborating with CommStar and Laser Light Communications to demonstrate new secure optical elastic telecommunications approaches for real-time remote monitoring of astronaut health in Cislunar, the Moon and beyond.
As an Australian living and working in Canada she supports the Australian Trade and Investment Commission to assist startups in Australia, Canada and internationally proposing new technologies for space and on Earth in the areas of health and wellness. She has a track record of leading and collaborating new innovations from idea through to technology readiness level 9 operational deployments.
She is currently serving as a Governor on the IEEE Computer Society Board of Governors and a Director on the Board for Compute Ontario, Canada.
