Replacing your Ucard
If your physical Ucard has been damaged and you need a replacement, please email ucard@ontariotechu.ca.
If your physical Ucard has been lost or stolen, follow the steps below as soon as possible:
-
Step 1: Suspend account transactions
- Log in to our OneWeb portal.
- On the Dashboard screen, click Manage Campus ID.
- Under Account Transactions Deactivation, click Suspend account transactions.
- Select Confirm.
If you have a meal plan, make sure you report your lost or stolen Ucard to leeann.hurst@compass-canada.com as soon as possible to have your meal plan account locked. Your account balance could be compromised until your account has been locked.
-
Step 2: Check to see if your card has been turned in
- The lost and found bin at the North Oshawa campus can be found at the Security desk in the Gordon Willey building.
- Each downtown Oshawa location also has a lost and found bin at its Security desk.
- You can also check to see if your card has been turned in to the Office of the Registrar.
-
Step 3: Request a replacement, if required
- A replacement physical Ucard will not be issued unless directly requested by the cardholder. If a replacement is required, please email ucard@ontariotechu.ca.
- Administrative fees will apply. A $25 replacement fee will be charged for physical Ucards and a $2 replacement fee will be charged for nursing badges. For more information on fees, visit our Miscellaneous and Administrative Fees web page.
-
Step 4: Resume account transactions once you have received your replacement
- Log in to our OneWeb portal.
- On the Dashboard screen, click Manage Campus ID.
- Under Account Transactions Activation, click Resume account transactions.
- Select Confirm.
You can always access your digital Ucard through our Ontario Tech Mobile app.
If your Ucard is non-mandatory (e.g. Not required for proximity access to campus spaces) and you want to use your digital Ucard instead of requesting a replacement, please email ucard@ontariotechu.ca to have your physical card deactivated.
