Mini-Makers Engineering Camp

Discover the exciting world of engineering in this hands-on, in-person camp designed for curious young creators! Over the course of the camp, participants will explore a different branch of engineering each day, gaining a broad and fun introduction to how engineers help shape the world around us.

Campers will dive into daily experiments, build-and-test challenges, and creative problem-solving activities inspired by real engineering fields. From designing simple structures to experimenting with forces, materials, and technology, participants will use the Engineering Design Process to brainstorm, prototype, and improve their ideas. Every activity is designed to be playful, accessible, and confidence-boosting—perfect for young learners trying engineering for the first time.

Creativity, curiosity, and problem-solving are all that’s needed to succeed (no prior engineering experience required). The program wraps up with a light showcase where participants share their favourite creations and celebrate their accomplishments with new friends.

This program features the same content as the Summer 2025 Mini-Maker's Engineering Camp.
