VEX Robotics: BattleBots
In-person delivery
Ages 14 to 17 (high school grades)

Step into the world of competitive robotics with VEX BattleBots! Throughout this high-energy program, participants work in teams to design, build, and program their own VEX EDR robots using motors, sensors, mechanical components, and custom hardware. Following the Engineering Design Process, teams will strategize, prototype, test, and refine their designs as they prepare for a series of fast-paced, friendly battles.
Although the competition is a highlight, this experience is about much more than the arena. Participants will develop problem-solving and engineering skills, learn the fundamentals of robotics and coding, and collaborate to create innovative robot designs that incorporate a wide range of strategies—not just strength, but also agility, precision, and creativity.
This is a beginner-friendly program, and no prior coding or robotics experience is required. Everyone is welcome to join the excitement, learn new skills, and take on the challenge of designing a competitive robot.
This program features the same content as the Summer 2025 VEX Robotics: BattleBots Camp.
