Commerce - Advanced Entry
Overview
Build on the knowledge of your Business Administration diploma through this college-to-university advanced entry program.Integrating key business functions with hands-on training and the use and understanding of today's latest technologies, the Commerce program provides you with the skills necessary for employment in a competitive market. You will have the opportunity to pursue an internship where you will gain business and management experience. Alternatively, you may consider a Capstone study project, where you will work as part of a team to provide consulting services with one of our industry partners, supervised by both university faculty and the organization's management team.
Our leading-edge commerce laboratories enable hands-on experiences and are fully integrated with the university's technology-enriched learning environment.

- Marketing Laboratory
You may choose to major in Accounting, Finance, Marketing or Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources Management. Alternatively, you can take a variety of courses in the comprehensive stream.

Admissions
An Ontario college advanced business administration diploma with a minimum mid-70s average.
Depending on their college curriculum, students may have the opportunity to enter directly into the major which most closely matches their college program of study. The full list of eligible programs is available on the Commerce Advanced Entry page. Students who are ineligible to be admitted directly to a major will enter the comprehensive program.
Note: Admission is competitive. The specific average or standing required for admission varies from year to year. Students are selected by taking into consideration a wide range of criteria including school marks, distribution of subjects taken and performance in subjects relevant to the academic program. Possession of the minimum requirements does not guarantee acceptance. Preference will be given to applicants with the best qualifications.

Experiential learning
Our students have many different opportunities to apply their knowledge and skills in real-world settings. With more than 300 industry and community partner organizations, you will have a wide variety of experiential learning opportunities available.
